Full Moon

Sacred Threshold

A Full Moon Day Retreat of Death, Rebirth & Remembering What Is True

⟡

Sunday, October 25th | 1–7:30 PM
Enlightened Living Center | Burlington, WI

We invite you to join us for a partial silent meditation retreat honoring death and rebirth — shedding the leaves of what is ready to be released, and stepping into the new.

We gather on the full moon, before the sacred thresholds of DĂa de los Muertos and Halloween, a powerful time to honor what has been revealed to us as ready to be released.

As we enter the darker half of the year, we come together to consciously meet the parts of ourselves that are ready to go, old patterns, identities, stories, and ways of being that no longer serve who we are becoming.

If you've been feeling the calling to honor past versions of yourself, to shed what is ready to be released, and to step into the fresh air of this present moment, this day retreat is designed for you.

What We'll Move Through Together

  • Opening in Community
We open our space with community connection and sacred cacao — softening into presence, and finding connection with one another before we turn inward.
  • Dropping Into Silence & the Body
As we drift into the silent portion of our retreat, we drop into the present moment and connection to ourselves through gentle somatic movement and pranayama.
  • Creating With What Arises
We create with the feelings that surface, working with watercolor and creative writing to acknowledge what's here — without needing the past to be diminished in order to move forward.
  • A Communal Altar of Release & Remembrance
We will take time in community to create a communal altar to honor what we are choosing to release, placing flowers, ancestral items, photos, writing, and our artwork in a mandala of release and remembrance.
  • The Death Meditation
All of this leads us to a powerful death meditation, led by Kayla, where we fully release, letting go of attachment, becoming no one, nowhere, in no time.
  • Returning, Rebirth, Community
We conclude by coming back, returning anew, and sharing a celebratory potluck together, with cacao offered once more.
